DOVER, De.(WPMT) – Delaware State University was on lockdown for several hours following a shooting at an off campus residence hall. It reportedly happened at around 4 pm this afternoon. The victim was transported to a local hospital. So far no reported arrests.
College officials after lifting the lockdown, urged students to exercise caution. Delaware State University is located in Dover and has a student enrollment of about 3,800.
