State police in Lancaster are searching for a man who entered an Amish home and inappropriately touched a sleeping teenager in Caernarvon Township.

Neighbor Dave Johnston says, "Who ever this guy is he's flirting with disaster."

Johnston says an uninvited guest visits his home along the 1000 block of Narvon Road. He says, "3 different occasions he's been on my porch...for the way my dog's been acting, I haven't seen the guy and I wish him no ill luck but trouble's coming to the guy."

Johnston says it's likely the same man who police say assaulted his neighbor in July. She's a 14-year-old teenage Amish girl and police say the suspect touched her inappropriately around 1 a.m. Police says the suspect's a 6 foot tall white man who's 20-30 years old.

Johnston says, "It bothers me that somebody in this community is doing this, these are nice people, everybody seems to be."

Police say the suspect entered the home through an unlocked window or door while the girl was sleeping. Neighbors say Amish people are targets of burglaries because they don't secure their homes.

Johnston says, "It's not their way. They really don't lock their doors and they have a firm belief that God will protect them."

To prevent incidents like this from happening again, police urge you to keep your house locked.

State Police Trooper, Ryan Lawrence says, "We're recommending to the public they secure their windows and doors and report incidents to the public as soon as possible."
