High pressure keeps our region dry, but it is still cold on Friday.

COLD LINGERS FOR BLACK FRIDAY!

Winds are breezy too on Friday, making for a colder feel.

High pressure keeps us dry for our Black Friday shopping excursions, but bundle up! The cold is going to linger! Tonight, the clouds gradually break apart, leading to mostly clear skies by daybreak. Low temperatures are frigid in the 20s. Friday brings more sunshine, but this does not change the cold conditions. Highs are stuck in the 30s once again. It’s a bit breezy too, adding to the chilled feel. Clouds begin to build back later in the day.

WARMING WEEKEND

It’s a cloudy start to the weekend, but temperatures gradually approach seasonal averages for this time of year. The clouds break late on Saturday, so high temperatures are near 40 degrees. Sunday, a warmer flow takes hold, boosting temperatures to near 50 degrees. A weak system tries to move in, but only looks to bring a few drops at best.

NEXT WEEK

Plenty of clouds are expected Monday, and perhaps a few showers with our next system. Temperatures stay seasonable Monday but briefly cool down on Tuesday. A few drops are possible, but our next substantial chance for rain comes on Wednesday. It’s quick to move through the region, so skies are dry once again for Thursday.

Have a great Thanksgiving!
