In Cumberland County, the Washington Fire Company held its 100th Annual Children's Christmas Party on Saturday.
The party included a visit from Jolly 'Ole Saint Nick. Youngsters had the chance to visit with Santa, they also made ornaments and enjoyed lunch.
The party is the fire company's way to give back to the community for supporting them all year-long. It is also collecting money to provide a proper christmas for two local families in need.
Fire Company Vice President, Doug Hench says, "On our food drive we did collect almost $800 and that will go to supplying those families with gifts, and hopefully a Christmas dinner also."
The fire company will be collecting monetary donations, gift cards and new, unwrapped toys throughout the month of December to help the local families.
