EAST LAMPETER TWP., PA(WPMT) A pedestrian was struck and killed near the Rockvale Shopping Outlet in Lancaster County.
It happened shortly after 7 p.m. near the intersection of Hartman Bridge Road(Route 896) and Rockvale Road in East Lampeter Township. Township Police say John Michael Benson, 57, of the 100 block of Hartman Bridge Road, was struck while walking along the side of the road.
The Lancaster County Coroner says Benson was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
East Lampeter Township Police are investigating.
