LANCASTER CO., PA.(WPMT)- The Pennsylvania SPCA says it rescued ten dogs from an unlicensed breeding kennel Tuesday afternoon in Lancaster County.
Acting on a tip, PSPCA Humane Law Enforcement officers armed with a search warrant raided a farm in Leola. They found the dogs living in unsanitary conditions and with untreated medical issues. The dogs were taken to PSPCA headquarters in Philadelphia for further evaluation. The investigation is ongoing and animal cruelty charges are expected in the case.
