RUSH TOWNSHIP, Dauphin Co. (WPMT)-A Tower City woman was arrested Monday after authorities said she threatened to kill Pennsylvania State Troopers and create another “Blooming Grove” incident.

Authorities charged Samantha Jo Woodhouse, 24,  with aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment, terroristic threats, disorderly conduct, and making false alarms to a public safety agency. She was taken to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Investigators responded to Woodhouse’s home along the 100 block of Stahls Drive in Rush Township around 4:20 p.m. after she made 16 threatening phone calls to Dauphin County 911 and the Lykens State Police barracks.

When troopers arrived at her home– Woodhouse appeared to be highly intoxicated and under the influence of drugs and alcohol. As she was being placed under arrest, she became combative and fought with police, investigators said.

Police said Woodhouse kicked an officer in the groin while she was being transported to the Dauphin County Judicial Center.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 11.
