Police are searching for a man who tried to steal several hundred dollars worth of tools from a Sears on Thanksgiving night.
According to police in Lower Allen Township Police, they were called to the Sears in the Capital City Mall on Thanksgiving night, but the suspect got away before they arrived.
Police say the suspect was wearing a Washington Redskins knit hat and a blue jacket with the hood up over the hat at the time of the robbery.
Police say they did find the suspect’s jacket behind a nearby business.
According to police, there was a second person with the suspect, but they don’t think that person stole anything.
Lower Allen Police are working with Silver Spring Township Police, they say the suspect may be involved in a reported retail theft in their area as well.
