From venomous snakes that slither sideways, to an abandoned lion cub named “Rainier”  ZooAmerica has some new faces. The animals are mostly North American and more active in winter.

New additions include:

  • “Shirley,” North American Porcupine
  • “Isabella,” Pronghorn
  • “Cora,” Thick-billed Parrot
  • “Adidas,” Black-footed Ferret
  • Turkey Vulture
  • Three Sidewinders
  • “Mitzi,” American Marten
  • “Lily and Laurel,” White-tailed Deer
  • “Rainier,” Mountain Lion cub

$5.50 Fridays: every Friday until March 28, 2015 admission is $5.50, a special price to encourage guests to meet the new animals.

ZooAmerica is open 7 days a week 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (except certain holidays)
