Update: Cameron Street reopened in Harrisburg after water main break

UPDATE: Dauphin County dispatchers tell FOX43 Cameron Street has reopened to traffic.

A portion of the roadway in Harrisburg was closed around 7:30 Sunday night, due to a water main break. Crews from Capital Region Water were called in to make repairs.

 

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

A portion of Cameron Street in Harrisburg is closed to traffic, due to a water main break.

Drivers should avoid the area, between Maclay and Herr Streets.

Capital Region Water crews are on the scene making repairs. The company expects the road to reopen at some point Sunday night or early Monday morning.
