States participating in the MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB™ lottery game have decided to suspend tickets sales in all states for the game as of  Dec. 26, according to a press release from the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The $5 game was just launched on Oct. 19. Lottery officials said the game has not performed to expectations.

“While Pennsylvania has been leading the nation in sales of MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB, consistently achieving the highest per capita sales among all lotteries, the game  is not resonating with players the way the industry anticipated,” said Lottery Executive Director Sil Lutkewitte.  “We will continue developing a strong and diverse portfolio of entertaining lottery products that our players have come to expect.”

Drawings will be held on Friday, Dec. 19, and Friday, Dec. 26. All prizes won will be awarded. In Pennsylvania, players have one year from the drawing date in which to claim prizes.

While the future of the MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB TV Game Show has not yet been determined, all players who have been awarded a MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB TV Game Show Prize package to date will receive their prizes.
