The Pennsylvania State Trooper who was wounded in an ambush outside his barracks in Pike County in September, is sending out a message of gratitude.
Trooper Alex Douglass was wounded in the shooting. His colleague, Cpl. Bryon Dickson was killed.
Douglass is on the left in this picture that was posted by his brother on Facebook.
The message with it from Trooper Douglass reads,
“Thank you all so much for your love, well wishes, and support! I have seen all of your posts and truly appreciate how many of you care about me. Happy Holidays!”
Police arrested Eric Frein in connection with in the shooting. He was captured after several weeks on the run in northeastern Pennsylvania.
