Police investigate ‘suspicious’ fire at Lebanon High School

LEBANON (WPMT)-Police are investigating after a fire broke out at Lebanon High School on Tuesday morning.

Authorities were called to the high school located along the 1000 block of South 8th Street around 8:20 a.m.

Lebanon City Police said two separate fires were found in a boy’s bathroom.  A roll of paper towels in a dispenser and some rags in a closet bathroom were intentionally lit on fire, according to police reports.

Investigators called the fire “suspicious,” but would not elaborate on whether police have identified any suspects.

All students were evacuated from the school.  No one was injured in the fire.

School activities have since resumed.

The investigation is ongoing.
