The death of a Lebanon man this week has been ruled a homicide police said.

According to police, an autopsy Friday revealed that 34-year-old Aileem Tillison died of multiple gunshot wounds that were not self-inflicted, police said in a news release.

Tillison’s former girlfriend found him dead Wednesday morning when she returned to her home in the 400 block of North Second Street after being out-of-town for several days, police said.

Police say that Tillison did not live in the home and his relationship with the woman had ended more than a year ago.

Officials  said an acquaintance had checked on the house Tuesday morning and found everything in order.

There had been an outstanding arrest warrant for Tillison because he allegedly forced his way into the woman’s home during the early morning of Dec. 5, police said.

Authorities charged Tillison with criminal trespass, but they had been unable to find him.

Lebanon City police are still investigating, anyone with any information is asked to contact police at 717-272-6611.
