Fans of the Crayola Facebook page got quite the shock this weekend.
Instead of seeing typical posts about crayons and art sets, Crayola’s Facebook page was strewn with adult content posts that many are calling “offensive”.
According to USA Today, hackers took control of the Crayola social media webpage and posted dozens of links to R-rated sites and sexual jokes.
Sunday evening, Crayola tweeted it was aware of the attack and was trying to stop it.
Crayola was able to take control of the page that has 2.5 million followers soon after, and they listed apologies on social media platforms for the risqué remarks.
