It’s been more than two months since Democrat Tom Wolf beat Republican Tom Corbett in the General Election.

Pennsylvania is now just one day away from officially having a new governor.

Wolf will be sworn into office Tuesday at noon.

The ceremony will be held at the East Wing of the Capitol.

The event is free but tickets are required.

The doors will open at 10:00 a.m. and guests are asked to be seated by 11:30 a.m.

Tuesday night, Wolf will be hosting a celebration at The Hershey Lodge starting at 8:00 p.m.

There, partygoers will enjoy live performances by local students and musicians, as well as Pennsylvania-made beer, wine and food.

The theme of Wolf’s inaugural celebration is, “Let’s Get Started,” and that’s exactly what he wants to do.

Wolf says while he’s looking forward to all the fun, he’s ready to get to work.

On Tuesday he plans to sign a few executive orders, including some that have to deal with gifting and fair contracting.

On Wednesday, he’ll meet with his cabinet to discuss transparency, openness and ethics.
