QUIET & SEASONABLE

The quiet and seasonable stretch lasts a little bit longer before a light snow chance enters the region for the middle of the week. This evening, clouds break just a bit. The winds taper too. We’re left with a seasonably cold and lows in the middle 20s to lower 30s. The clouds thicken up again early tomorrow morning as a weak clipper system approaches. The first wave brings the chance for some flurries Tuesday night. Then, a second ripple of energy brings the chance for light snow Wednesday. Accumulations greater than an inch are becoming more likely as newer model data keeps coming in. It looks like a general 1-3″ for our area. Stay tuned for more updates. Temperatures stay seasonably cold through the middle of the week.

TURNING CHILLIER AGAIN

Another nudge of colder air slips into the region Thursday. With mostly cloudy skies, highs only reach the lower to middle 30s. Expect more of the same for Friday. The only difference is a little more sunshine peeks through for the area.

NEXT WEEKEND

The clouds are still around Saturday and Sunday as well. Temperatures stay near averages into the weekend. Monday there is some discrepancy among models, but it does appear another weak clipper tries to brush our region with light snow showers. Some colder air will likely accompany Monday as well, with readings possibly falling into the 20s for daytime highs.

Have a great night!
