LANCASTER, PA (WPMT) A Lancaster City man faces a raft of drug related charges following a weekend drug bust.
The city police Selective Enforcement Unit executed a warrant at 309 Beaver Street, culminating a month long investigation based on citizen complaints and police observations of drug dealing in the area, specifically at the Beaver Street address.
Police took into custody Jose Rodriguez-Negron, 39, without incident. They also executed a warrant on a 1994 white Toyota Camry station wagon operated by, but not registered to Rodriguez-Negron. Inside the car they found a substantial amount of heroin. A small amount of heroin and cash was found inside the residence.
In total, police seized 265 individual bags of heroin with a street value of $2,650. 33 individual packets of Suboxone, a controlled substance and $1,315 in cash.
Charges against Rodriguez-Negron include Possession with Intent to Deliver, Possession with Intent to Deliver Suboxone, Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Following arraignment, he was released posting bail.
