Several thousand people helped Pennsylvania’s new Governor, Tom Wolf celebrate his first night as the state’s leader at the Hershey Lodge in Dauphin County. The 47th governor of Pennsylvania took to the stage with a short message to his supporters. He knows expectations for change are high, but on his inauguration night he wants to celebrate.

“Tomorrow we have to get to work, we have to actually deliver on that promise and the work really begins but tonight we’re going to celebrate,” said Governor, Tom Wolf.

People enjoyed music, feasted on a long list of food and desserts, many with Pennsylvania ties.

"Delicious, I mean, even inside the room, it was just like very low key, meatloaf, little perogies, just very down to earth and I think that's what Governor Wolf is," said Cathy Pocious from Scranton.

Earlier in the day Wolf invited people into the governor's mansion. Supporters got to meet the new governor, some for the very first time.

"He's very down to earth, like he's going to bring a new approach so he just seems very warm, very natural," said Steve Rock, from Doylestown.

"Meeting Governor Wolf, very much an honor, and we're just happy to be here," said Rhonda Abel, from York County.
