The Pa. Supreme Court issued a stay Thursday halting any further action in the investigation into state Attorney Gen. Kathleen Kane (D).
A grand jury has been investigating whether Kane illegally leaked grand jury material to a newspaper.
Documents released Wednesday confirm the grand jury recommended charging Kane with perjury and other crimes.
"The Supreme Court has stayed the presentment and as a result, the district attorney of Montgomery County is restrained from taking any action based on the presentment, pending further order of the court," said Supreme Court spoke
