Dozens of people were getting quite a workout on Sunday in York County at a calorie-burning benefit. A Zumbathon was held at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in West Manchester Township.
The event was organized by the Shining Stars Booster Club of Skyline Gymnastics.
Admission costs will be used by the club to help parents of their gymnasts travel to competitions.
Travel can be expensive and often times, it prevents young athletes from being able to take part.
Organizer Hillary Hasson says, "It's a great way to support local gymnasts who do represent York County and Skyline all around the United States."
The Zumbathon was open to the public. Raffles were also held to raise even more money.
Skyline offers gymnastics and tumbling classes for children of all ages.
