Powerball fever hit Pennsylvania as stores across the state sold 8,700 tickets per minute on Wednesday.
If there’s a winner from Wednesday night’s drawing, it’ll be the third-largest jackpot in Powerball history. There hasn’t been a winner since November, so it’s only grown.
York resident Sanford Liggins bought 10 tickets at different stores around York- all stores with previous lottery wins.
“I found out that other places in York that’s won already, I stopped there to hopefully win a ticket and that’s my strategy,” says Liggins.
