On Wednesday, President Obama announced his proposal to Congress, asking lawmakers to authorize the use of military force against ISIS forces in Syria and Iraq. The President says he doesn't want to deploy military troops on the ground in those countries, but his plan leaves that option open if it becomes "absolutely necessary."

Republican Congressman Scott Perry spoke to FOX43's Evan Forrester during Wednesday night's newscast to give his take on the President's request.
