Valentine’s Day is almost here which means business is booming for florists all across the country, including right here in Central Pennsylvania.

Over at Royer Flowers and Gifts in West York, employees were up bright and early Friday morning gearing up for their busiest time of the year.

The store’s Vice President of Operations Barry Spengler says even though Valentine’s Day isn’t officially until Saturday, deliveries are already in full swing.

Drivers will make more than 500 stops just by Friday afternoon with hundreds more scheduled over the weekend.

If you still haven’t found something special for your loved one, there’s still time.

Spengler says they have flowers within every price range and will be taking orders up to the very last minute!

According to the National Retail Federation, Americans will spend 1.2 billion dollars on flowers this Valentine’s Day.
