Fire & Ice Festival opens in Lititz

People traveled to Lancaster County on Saturday to kick off the annual Lititz Fire and Ice Festival.
Both kids and adults took part in fun carnival activities and crafts. About 40 local vendors set up, to show off their products and services.
Another big event was the chili cook-off. Chili masters brought the heat, serving over 30,000 ounces of chili in just four hours.
Organizers say the Fire and Ice Festival is a great time for the whole family!
"It's a fantastic event it bring so many people together so many different vendors in the local Lititz area, it's a fantastic turnout every year. Every year we see more and more people come out and it's great to get everyone together to highlight all the fantastic things we have here in Lititz," says Danielle Gilmore, Director of Marketing for Lancaster Regional Medical Center.
Last year, Lititz was named one of America's coolest small towns.
The fire and Ice Festival will continue Sunday with a dodgeball tournament.
