Firefighters in York County battled a fire on Saturday afternoon. Flames broke out at a home on the 12000-block of Cross Roads Avenue in North Hopewell Township. Firefighters say the fire started in the garage of the home in a box full of flammable materials.

"The garage had a fire inside which spread to an adjacent RV. We extinguished both the garage and RV and saved the house from extension," says Fire Chief Scott Gingrich, with the Felton Volunteer Fire Department.

Crews say the fire caused some damage to the side of the home. No injuries were reported.
