Two car crash damages electric pole; some Lancaster residents without power

A crash involving a tractor-trailer and a car has knocked power out to hundreds of people in Caernarvon Township, Lancaster County.

The accident happened around 10:30 Saturday morning along the 2700 block Main Street at South Red School Road.

Minor injuries were reported in the crash, but one vehicle did take out 2 utility poles.

According to PPL Outage map, around 312 customers are without power in the area.

State police will have the road closed off near the area of Route 10 and California Road for an sometime today, while repairs are being done.
