Police said Randall Shreiner parked his car in the 500 block of East Main Street in Ephrata and waited for Monica Miller and then shot her to death on Wednesday morning. Police said he did it because she had ended their relationship. Now he's been charged with homicide.

"A body laying there. She was shot in the head. That's what I saw," said Kay Bryan who lives just a few feet away from where Miller was shot to death. Police say Shreiner, who's married, had been having an affair with Miller for several years, but that Milled had ended it. "He actually concealed himself and was waiting for her to come out and after a brief conversation took her life by shooting her," said Lancaster District Attorney Craig Stedman.

Miller's daughter heard the gunshots and walked out onto her balcony. That's when she saw her mother on the ground below. "He killed her mom. That's going to be with her for the rest of her life," said Carol Cesario who used to live in the same apartment complex.

After hearing about the murder Shreiner's wife called police on Wednesday and told them she was worried her husband may be involved. Early Thursday morning Shreiner turned himself in. He's being held in the Lancaster County Prison without bail.
