Police seize guns, drugs and cash from 2 York City homes

YORK CITY (WPMT)-Authorities seized seven guns, drugs and $38,559 in cash from a York City man Thursday, according to police reports.

Bradley Markle, 33, is charged with three counts of possession with intent to deliver or manufacture and possession of paraphernalia.

York City Police found the drugs while serving a search warrant at Markle’s home on the 500 block of Atlantic Avenue on Feb. 19, according investigators.

Officers seized $2,090 in marijuana, 56 acetaminophen and oxycodone hydrochloride, hashish, $38,559 in cash and seven guns.

Markle was arrested and taken to York Central Booking in lieu of $100,000. He has since posted bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 27.

Earlier this week police also arrested 42-year-old Shaun Brown, of the 200 block of Kurtz Avenue.

Brown is charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, felons not to possess a firearm and receiving stolen property. Police seized $6,460 in cocaine and a gun.
