DAUPHIN COUNTY, PA (WPMT) A traffic stop leads to two people charged with human trafficking and seizure of several thousand baggies of heroin.

On Tuesday, state troopers stopped a vehicle on Interstate 81 in Lower Paxton Township, for a traffic violation. The front seat passenger, Robert Middlebrook, 40,  and driver, Roniece Norfleet, 21, both from the Pittsburgh area, were arrested after troopers discovered several thousand baggies of heroin inside the vehicle.

Middlebrook was also charged with human trafficking involving four female juveniles that were passengers in the vehicle. The 16- and 17-year-old girls informed the troopers that they had been performing sexual acts for money at the direction of Middlebrook. These acts took place in Ohio and Pennsylvania, particularly in the Pittsburgh area.

Middlebrook was charged with felony counts of Trafficking in Minors, Criminal Conspiracy, and Drug Possession with Intent to Deliver. Norfleet was charged with felony Drug possession with Intent to Deliver. Both individuals were sent to Dauphin County Prison to await their preliminary hearing.
