According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Centre County judge and state Supreme Court nominee Thomas Kistler is accused of forwarding a racially insensitive email.

The 2013 Christmas greeting card reportedly shows a black man and a black woman during what appears to be a jail visit titled “Merry Christmas from the Johnsons.”

Kistler told the Inquirer he couldn’t recall sending the email but did not deny forwarding it.
