LANCASTER (WPMT)-A Lancaster man was arrested Tuesday for possessing and distributing child pornography, according to state police reports.
Scott D. Dow, 32, was arrested and charged with four counts of possession of child pornography and criminal use of communication facility. He was taken to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail.
An investigation was launched in November after State Police Computer Crime Unit discovered that Dow was sharing child pornography over the internet, state police said.
A search warrant was executed at Dow’s residence, in which two computers were seized. He was arrested after an examination of the computers uncovered images and videos depicting child pornography, state police said.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 6.
