WASHINGTON, PA – A mother near Pittsburgh is arrested after police say she drove drunk to an apartment with her 7-year-old son according to the (Washington) Observer-Reporter. She was allegedly planning to have sex with three other people while the boy was in the residence early Tuesday morning.
Police were called to the apartment around 1 a.m. after 34-year-old Heather Young was arguing with another woman. Young began undressing in front of her son according to a man in the apartment.
Young was drunk and shouting, police said, so she was placed in handcuffs. She allegedly spit at an officer and tried to kick him.
Young has been charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault, indecent exposure, child endangerment, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest and driving under the influence.
The boy is in his father’s care and an investigation has been started by Children & Youth Services.
