Police are investigating an incident where tombstones were knocked over and damaged at a York County cemetery.
Northern York County Regional police say the damage occurred Wednesday at Quickel Cemetery, between East Canal Road Extended and Susquehanna Trail in Conewago Township.
Tire tracks indicate that a vehicle drove off of Susquehanna Trail into the cemetery, driving over multiple rows of tombstones before exiting onto East Canal Road police said.
A total of six tombstones were damaged. Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at 717-292-3647.
