Police searching for suspect in Earl Twp. bank robbery

EARL TOWNSHIP (WPMT)- Police are investigating a robbery this morning at the Ephrata National Bank branch along the 900 block of North Railroad in EarlTownship.

New Holland police said the man walked into the bank around 9:30 a.m.  and gave the teller a note demanding money. There was no weapon involved in the robbery. Investigators said the robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He was described as a white male, early 40s, dark colored hair, small build, 5’5″ to 5’9″in height. He was last seen wearing a checkered shirt, dark pants, knit hat and colored tinted sunglasses.

He was seen getting into a dark green four-door vehicle, possibly a VW, which was last seen heading north on Wanner Road.
