Sunbury, PA – Weis Markets today received final Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) approval to open a beer café in its Queensgate Mall store in York on Monday morning. It is currently stocking the Café, which is open for business.
The store is located on 2065 Springwood Road. The 30-seat beer café will sell beer for on premise consumption and take-out. It offers more than 800 beers, including an extensive collection of local craft beers. It will sell local beers brewed by Liquid Hero Brewery in York and Wyndridge Farm Brewing in nearby Dallastown.

The Café is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to midnight and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

This is the second Weis Markets’ beer café in York County. It currently operates a beer café in its Roosevelt Boulevard store, which opened last fall. A third café is currently under construction in its East Market Street store in York and a fourth café is in the early planning stages for its Carlisle Street store in Hanover.

Weis Markets currently operates 28 beer cafés in its Pennsylvania stores.
