A student athlete at Bloomsburg University has been kicked off the school’s baseball team -and that may not be it.

The administration says it’s possible Joey Casselberry could face further punishment as well.

Casselberry got the boot, after he tweeted an inappropriate remark about Philadelphia little leaguer Mo’ne Davis.

Davis was one of the stars of the 2014 Little League World Series in South Williamsport. Casselberry made the tweet after Disney announced it was making a movie about Davis.

Other Bloomsburg University Students say all of this shows you have to be especially careful when using social media.

Student Eric Stone told WNEP, “Watch what you say. Just in general, be polite. There’s no reason…you can have your opinion. Maybe it’s something you want to say to another person, but don’t put it out on social medial where everyone can see it.”

Connor Spornak says, “Things nowadays through social media get spread very quickly through everywhere pretty much -you have to watch what you say or there’s consequences.”

The tweet, and Casselberry’s twitter account have been deleted.

Bloomsburg University released a statement from its athletics Twitter account saying:

Davis appeared on “SportsCenter” Monday morning to address the issue. She said that she’d like to see Casselberry reinstate to the team.
