HARRISBURG, PA (WPMT) A dozen people in an alleged drug trafficking ring are arrested for distributing heroin and other narcotics in Huntingdon County. The arrests were made during a raid Tuesday.
Investigators targeted street-level dealers during the investigation, which took place last year over approximately six months. The investigation consisted of undercover purchases and the use of confidential informants.
Controlled purchases were made in Huntingdon Borough, Mount Union Borough, Henderson Township, Smithfield Township, Porter Township and Orbisonia Borough. The investigation focused on heroin, marijuana and Suboxone, a drug commonly used to treat narcotic addiction.
Additional arrests are anticipated as the investigation continues. The list of the defendants and the charges against them:
David Steele, 27, 231 Mifflin St., Huntingdon, is charged with one count each of possession with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia (marijuana).
Derrick Brown, 27, 625 7th St., Huntingdon, is charged with two counts each of possession of drugs with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility (Suboxone and heroin).
Matt Zanylo, 28, 7477 County Hills Road, Huntingdon, is charged with one count each of possession of drugs with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility (heroin).
Selby Flasher, 34, 10151 Piney Ridge Road, Huntingdon, is charged with one count each of possession of drugs with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility (Suboxone).
Eric Stultz, 29, 7639 Slate Hill Road, Mapleton Depot, is charged with two counts each of possession of drugs with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility (marijuana).
Deidra Endres, 26, 1180 Penn Woods Road, Huntingdon, is charged with three counts each of delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility, as well as one count of criminal conspiracy (heroin).
Travis Skipper, 28, 124 West Maxwell St., Mount Union, is charged with one count each of delivery of a non-controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility (heroin).
Taylor Swope-Pagana, 22, currently incarcerated at Centre County Prison, is charged with one count each of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility (Suboxone).
Kaleb Varner, 21, 1180 Penn Woods Road, Huntingdon, is charged with one count each of possession with intent to deliver a non-controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility (heroin).
Brandon Whisonaut, 29, 1400 Washington St., Huntingdon, is charged with one count each of possession of drugs with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility (heroin).
Gail Galloway, 67, 4621 Brick Yard Road, Alexandria, is charged with one count each of delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility and criminal conspiracy (heroin).
Patrick Horn Jr., 25, 26 W. Vandevender St., Mount Union, is charged with one count each of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance (heroin).
