HARRISBURG, PA ( WPMT) — Agents with the Pa Attorney General’s Child Predator Section charge three men, two of them from Dauphin County, with possessing child pornography and sharing it on the internet.

The men arrested are identified as:
•Troy Allen Schreiber, 30, 401 Market St., Apt. A, Millersburg Borough, Dauphin County

According to a criminal complaint, Troy Schreiber was arrested today following an investigation in which agents identified a computer on a peer-to-peer network sharing material believed to depict child pornography.

One file containing suspected child pornography was downloaded from an IP address allegedly assigned to a computer in Schreiber’s possession. Agents later obtained a search warrant for Schreiber’s home. They seized a computer and thumb drive. Following a preliminary search, 25 images of suspected child pornography were discovered. The devices will undergo further analysis as part of an ongoing investigation.

Schreiber is charged with 25 counts of possession of child pornography and one count each of disseminating child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility. His bail was set at $50,000 following a preliminary arraignment this morning. A preliminary hearing was tentatively scheduled for April 28.

One file containing suspected child pornography was downloaded from an IP address allegedly assigned to a computer in Hooven’s possession. A search warrant was later executed at Hooven’s residence, which resulted in the seizure of a desktop computer.

Following a preliminary search, 25 images of suspected child pornography were found. The computer will be further analyzed as part of an ongoing investigation.

Hooven was charged with 25 counts of possession of child pornography and one count each of distributing child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility.

His bail was set at $10,000 at his preliminary arraignment. He is tentatively scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing April 28.

Mark Monahan was arrested Thursday following an investigation in which agents identified a computer distributing apparent child pornography on a sharing network.

Ten files were downloaded from an IP address allegedly assigned to a computer in Monahan’s possession. The files contained images and videos of child pornography, agents allege.

Monahan was later approached by agents at his home, where they executed a search warrant. Several electronic devices were found during the search.

A preliminary search of the devices revealed 10 files that contained various images and videos of suspected child pornography. The devices will be further analyzed as part of an ongoing investigation.

Monahan is charged with 10 counts of distributing child pornography, 10 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility. His bail was set at $100,000 at his preliminary arraignment. A preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled for April 7.

Pennsylvania State Police assisted in all three arrests.
