HEIDELBERG TOWNSHIP (WPMT)-A two-alarm fire that caused $750,000 worth of damage to a Lebanon County hotel early Wednesday morning apparently started in the kitchen, according to state police reports.
The fire was reported around 1:12 a.m. at the Kleinfeltersville Hotel and Tavern located along the 2600 block of Heidelberg Avenue. The exact cause of the fire is still undetermined, state police said.
Damage to the building, kitchen and bar supplies was estimated at $750,000, authorities said.
Both the bar and restaurant were closed at the time of the blaze.
Three people were able to escape without injuries, but several pets died inside. The second and third floors sustained major damage, state police said.
Following the fire, a message on the K-ville Hotel and Tavern’s website said it will be closed indefinitely.
