Gettysburg man, 19, charged with rape at West Chester fraternity house

WEST CHESTER (WPMT) — A Gettysburg man has been accused of raping a woman at the Kappa Delta Rho fraternity house in West Chester last month, police said.

Mauricio Sanjuan-Martinez, 19, is charged with rape, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and unlawful restraint. He was arrested Thursday and taken to Chester County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.

The investigation began on March 29 after a 19-year-old woman told authorities she had been sexually assaulted during a party at the Kappa Delta Rho frat house in West Chester. The house is  located along the 600 block of South Walnut Street.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 16.
