LANCASTER (WPMT)-Police continue their search for a homeless man accused of beating a man with a metal pipe in Lancaster earlier this year.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 43-year-old Thomas E. Gerlitzki. He is charged with robbery and aggravated assault.

The incident happened along the 300 block of East Filbert Street on Feb. 24. The victim told police that a man, later identified as Gerlitzki, hit him over the head with a metal pipe and robbed him. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police announced Wednesday that a reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading Gerlitzki’s arrest.
