Police on scene of incident in Harrisburg City; residents asked to shelter

We’re following breaking news out of Harrisburg this morning..
Where police are actively searching for several suspects following an early morning robbery.
Officials say police responded to the robbery around 2:30 this morning along the 200 block of Verbeke Street.
Several suspects then fled the scene, leading police on a car chase that ended in a crash along the 3000 block of Second Street.
County officials say shots were fired but it’s still unclear at this time who exactly fired them or if anyone was injured.
Harrisburg police are still searching for the suspects…
But in the meantime, they are asking anyone in the uptown section of the city within the 3000 blocks of Green, Penn, and Second Streets to shelter in place.
They’re asking if residents see anyone besides the police department on their property to contact 9-1-1 immediately.
