People in York County are remembering a Northeastern High School graduate and local Veteran by dedicating a bridge in his honor.
Members of the NHS Class of 1966 organized the memorial at the Route 1-81 Bridge over Conewago Creek, that connects Manchester and York Haven.
The bridge will now be called the "SP4 Randy Stephen Schell Memorial Bridge," in honor of Randy Schell.
Schell was killed in combat in June of 1968.
He had been awarded both the bronze star and silver star for his service in Vietnam.
Governor Tom Wolf was in attendance at Saturday's ceremony, along with Schell's family.
