Police in West Hanover Township are asking the public’s help in identifying a man after police say he stole $570 worth of lottery tickets.
The incident happened in January when the male suspect walked into the Turkey Hill along State Route 22 in Dauphin County and began a brief conversation with an employee.
The employee went out of the store to smoke a cigarette when the suspect reached over the counter and stole a roll of lottery tickets police said.
The suspect then went into the bathroom and stuffed the tickets into his jacket and left the store police said.
Police are describing the suspect as a black male around 5 ft 8 inches tall, about 155 pounds, ranging from 25 – 40 years of age. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black and white POLICE ball cap.
