A Pennsylvania congressman made a special visit to Dauphin County on Friday.
Congressman Lou Barletta recognized three students during the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet School's "Performance Day" held at the Whitaker Center in Harrisburg. Dancers Abby DeAngelo, Zachary Boresow, and Kayla Hallman received awards for their leadership skills.
The Carlisle school then dazzled the crowd with a performance preview of Alan Hineline's "Cinderella."
"It's incredible that right here in our own backyard we have one of the world's best ballet schools," Congressman Barletta said, "and to be able to come here and recognize their hard work and what they have achieved is a privilege for me."
