Armed masked man robs York County bank

YORK, PA (WPMT)- A manhunt for an armed bank robbery suspect in York County.  It happened at about 10 o’clock this morning at the Susquehanna Bank, at 1 Main Street, East Prospect Boro.

State police say the suspect wearing a black ski-type face mask, armed with a two tone semi-automatic handgun walked into the bank and demanded money from the bank employees.  Some cash was placed in a white and gray plaid pillow case which the suspect brought with him.

The suspect also ordered all the bank employees to face away from him and stay that way until he left.  He was last seen running away.

The bandit is described as white male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a dark gray hooded zip up sweatshirt, black gloves, black pants, black shoes and the ski-mask.  Investigators released a series of surveillance photos of the suspects.
