A police officer is recovering this morning after being shot in West Philadelphia Thursday night.
Emergency workers rushed Officer Daniel Kostick to the hospital; he had a gunshot wound to his arm.
The officer is in stable condition.
The suspect was also shot and taken to a different hospital.
Police have not released any information on what led up to the shooting.
