COOL & CLOUDY: After a beautiful Sunday, the region begins the new workweek cool, cloudy, breezy, and unsettled. Upper level energy dropping in from the north has bubbled up clouds. Although initially these clouds fade during the evening, later through the night, a more persistent band of clouds begins to build. It’s a bit of a chilly night, with low temperatures in the upper 30s to lower 40s. The clouds continue to build through the morning hours Monday after a little bit of sun to begin the day. The upper level energy sparks spotty afternoon showers that taper after sunset. Expect breezy conditions and temperatures in the middle to upper 50s.

MIDWEEK WARMING: The breezes continue Tuesday as this system lifts out of the region. Still expect a mixture of clouds and sunshine. It is milder and more seasonable, with temperatures in the lower to middle 60s. Wednesday brings more sunshine, and still a small shower chance. Temperatures rise into the upper 60s to lower 70s.

LATE WEEK: Showers are possible Thursday with temperatures in the lower to middle 60s. Chances could linger into Friday, and this keep temperatures on the cool side. Ample sunshine returns to the region Saturday. Friday temperatures are in the lower 60s, and Saturday rise into the lower 70s. By Sunday, temperatures are still in the 70s, but there could be a couple passing showers.

Have a great week!
