HARRISBURG, Pa. - A man arrested after a shooting in Harrisburg is now facing homicide charges following the death of the 17-year-old victim, police said.
Kenneth Hunter, 19, is charged with criminal homicide, carrying a firearm without a license and tampering with evidence. He was arraigned Thursday and taken to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $500,000 bail.
Officers responded to a home along the 1900 block of Kensington Street around 2:28 a.m. on April 29 for a reported shooting. Police found 17-year-old Amon Corsa-Romain in a bedroom with a gunshot wound to his face. He was taken to a local hospital and died Thursday afternoon.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 8.
